Many clients come to Walton Hypnotherapy experiencing:
You are not imagining these symptoms.
And you are not weak.
Many people with fibromyalgia are experiencing a nervous system that has become stuck in chronic stress and pain signaling patterns.
Modern neuroscience and chronic pain research suggest that fibromyalgia is often connected to nervous system dysregulation and central sensitization.
Central sensitization occurs when the brain and nervous system become overly sensitive to danger and pain signals.
Over time, the nervous system can begin:
This means the symptoms are real — even when scans or medical testing appear normal.
The nervous system has learned a survival response.
And learned responses can be retrained.
Many fibromyalgia sufferers notice their symptoms worsen during:
This is because the nervous system and pain system are deeply connected.
When the body stays trapped in survival mode for long periods, the brain can continue producing real physical symptoms even after the original stressor has passed.
This does NOT mean your symptoms are “all in your head.”
It means your nervous system may be stuck in a protective state.
Hypnosis is increasingly being explored as a supportive approach for chronic pain, stress reduction, and nervous system regulation.
At Walton Hypnotherapy, hypnosis is used to help:
Calm the fight-or-flight response
Reduce stress-related symptom amplification
Lower pain sensitivity
Improve sleep quality
Reduce fear around flare-ups
Interrupt chronic pain loops
Rebuild a sense of safety in the body
Improve emotional regulation
Support nervous system recovery
This approach combines:
-Clinical hypnosis-
-Nervous system retraining principles-
-Somatic techniques-
-Guided subconscious work-
-Relaxation-based symptom reduction-
-Self-hypnosis training-
The goal is not simply temporary relaxation.
The goal is helping retrain the nervous system patterns contributing to chronic symptoms.
Most fibromyalgia treatments focus only on managing symptoms.
This work focuses on helping change the underlying nervous system response patterns that may be keeping symptoms active.
Many chronic pain sufferers become trapped in cycles like this:
Pain → Fear → Tension → Stress → Increased Symptoms
Over time, the brain learns the pattern.
Hypnosis and nervous system regulation techniques help interrupt and retrain these learned responses.
1. Learn how chronic pain and fibromyalgia develop
2. Understand central sensitization and stress responses
3. Begin calming the nervous system
4. Experience guided hypnosis for symptom relief
1. Explore subconscious stress responses
2. Identify symptom-triggering patterns
3. Reduce fear and hypervigilance
4. Reframe learned pain responses
1. Learn self-hypnosis techniques
2. Build nervous system regulation skills
3. Reduce flare-up intensity
4. Develop long-term symptom management tools
You leave with practical tools you can continue using independently.

-Less nervous system overwhelm
-Improved sleep quality
-Reduced stress and anxiety
-Increased energy
-Improved body awareness
-Less fear of flare-upsBetter emotional resilience
-More confidence in daily life

Walton Hypnotherapy focuses specifically on:
-Fibromyalgia
-Chronic pain
- Nervous system dysregulation
- Mind-body symptoms
-Stress-related physical conditions
-Central sensitization patterns
This is not generic relaxation hypnosis.
This is a focused approach designed around how chronic pain and nervous system conditions develop — and how those learned patterns may begin changing.
Fibromyalgia can make people feel hopeless, exhausted, and disconnected from their own body.
But many chronic pain and mind-body symptoms are connected to learned nervous system patterns.
And learned patterns can change.
You do not have to fight your body forever.
If you are looking for natural support for fibromyalgia, chronic pain, nervous system dysregulation, or stress-related symptoms, Walton Hypnotherapy offers a different approach focused on calming the nervous system and reducing chronic symptom patterns.

Hypnosis may help some people with fibromyalgia reduce stress, improve sleep, lower pain perception, and calm the nervous system. Results vary by individual.
Nervous system dysregulation occurs when the body remains stuck in chronic fight-or-flight activation, often contributing to pain, fatigue, anxiety, and other symptoms.
Stress does not “cause” fibromyalgia in a simple sense, but chronic stress and nervous system overload are often associated with symptom flare-ups and increased sensitivity.
